Design house Gaia&Gino launches their new brand Gino the dog at New York ICFF. At this year’s ICFF – award winning design brand Gaia & Gino debuted their new dog furnishings line Gino the dog. We had a chance to speak with Yves Béhar – Creative Director of the dog line. Béhar was quick to point out that the designs for Gino the dog were created by students from California College of Arts (CCA). One of the standout pieces (designed by Brandon Warren) is the porcelain “Wild” food and water bowl. Available in Black, White and Mirrored finishes these organically shaped bowls conjure imagery somewhere between a molar and a moon crater. The Mirror finish bowl with it’s nod to 80′s cocaine-chic seems like it could give your dog a little funhouse reflection startle after cleaning out their bowl. These are currently not available for sale online but watch this space for the online retail hookup.
