Wondering what to get the pet lover who has everything this holiday? How about a commissioned portrait of a beloved pet that will be cherished forever.
Artist, Rachael Rossman creates the most beautiful watercolor portraits of your pet – paying careful attention to capturing their personality. Rachael painted a portrait of our dog Flo using a watercolor and marker technique on photo paper that gives the painting a beautiful fluid feeling. The colors are vibrant and saturated.

Her commission prices start at $75 for a 5 x 7 and go up depending on size. She says it’s taking about 8 weeks from the time you order to completion, so plan a head if you want to gift one of these masterpieces for the holidays. Past portrait clients of Rossman include Martha Stewart’s doggies Francesca and Sharkey. I know I’ll treasure my painting of Flo for the rest of my life and always have a memory of her sweet smiling face. Not to mention it looks so darn KEWL hanging above my fireplace.
